Ha! I have five feeders, 5 birdbaths and several ground and platform feeders. I watch the birds every morning with my cup of coffee. Needless to say I spend money on feeding the birds but fortunately I don't spend money on much else. "save the birds, save the world"
Eric Abernethy replied:
Wonderful philosophy Maureen. Birds are my saviors during the cold months. I can't wait for spring arrivals, they are right around the corner.

Congrats on your first place win for this photo! All birds are amazing but seeing the Goldfinch is an rich experience and often welcomes Spring and Fall. I plant sunflowers every year especially to lure them to my yard. Great capture in space and time!
Eric Abernethy replied:
Thank you Maureen. I keep the feeders full year round so they stick around all year out my way. Love to watch the birds out here.
